My name is Joseph C. Murray

I am a young student writer whose life has completely changed ever since I made my journey to Chico State. College, with all the responsibilities, freedoms, and hard decisions has changed me. Hopefully, through this blog, you can grab an understanding of the things I will be going through mentally and physically through my next four years.

I was born in Santa Cruz, Ca with one older brother and two dysfunctional but great parents. At home, I live about 10 min away from the beach, so moving to Chico with no beaches within close proximity is rough. In the past and throughout my high school years, I played football, basketball, and baseball. Baseball though was by far my favorite sport. School has always been my priority, but partying and going out with friends is a close 2nd. Now with no sports on my calendar, for the first time in my life, I have been able to focus more on school and use my spare time to hang out with friends.
